Private Tour Operator in Sembalun

Sembalun is a high farming valley on the eastern flank of Mount Rinjani, sitting at roughly 1,100 metres — noticeably cooler than the coast, with the volcano rising directly above the fields. It is one of the two gateway villages of Rinjani National Park and the start of the summit side of the mountain: treks named 'via Sembalun' walk out of this valley because it gives the most direct line to the crater rim and the top.

Tours we run from here

Sembalun is where our Mount Rinjani 2D/1N summit trek begins — the route is named for its start via Sembalun. The 3D/2N trek adds the Segara Anak crater lake and the hot springs at a gentler pace. Both run with the licensed guides Rinjani National Park requires for every trekker, arranged by us.

Yes, and it is not optional: Rinjani National Park requires a licensed guide for every trekker. We arrange the guides and porters as part of the trek.
