Frequently asked questions
Can I see Komodo in a single day?
From Labuan Bajo, yes — the speedboat day trip covers the Padar viewpoint, Pink Beach and a ranger-led dragon walk. From Bali it is not a same-day round trip: you need at least one night in Labuan Bajo.
What is the difference between the liveaboard and the private charter?
The liveaboard is a shared departure on a set three-day route. The charter is the whole Phinisi boat for your group, with a route we build around what you want — diving, dragons or photography.
How do I get to Labuan Bajo?
Fly in from Bali, roughly ninety minutes with several flights a day. Or sail: our four-day route from Lombok goes via the islands in between and arrives by boat, which suits travellers already on Lombok.
Are manta rays or dragons guaranteed?
No wildlife sighting can be guaranteed. Manta Point is on the route when conditions allow, and dragon sightings on the ranger walks are very likely without being certain — morning walks have the better rate.
When are the seas calmest?
April to December for open-water crossings. We confirm current conditions before every departure.
