GumilangTour is a Lombok-based guided-tour company. We run private tours across Lombok and the Gili Islands, day tours in Bali, and boat trips into Komodo National Park from Labuan Bajo — including the multi-day sailing route that goes from Lombok to Labuan Bajo rather than flying.

How do I book a tour?

Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and what you would like to see, and we will put an itinerary and a quote together. There is no online checkout — every trip is quoted for the group and the route, so a conversation is faster than a booking form. You can also send an enquiry through the contact page.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no account, login or dashboard for travellers — every enquiry goes straight to our team.

Why are there no prices on the website?

Because a private tour's cost depends on the group size, the route and the season, a single published number would be wrong for most enquiries. We quote per itinerary once we know those three things, and the quote is what you pay.

Are your tours private or shared?

Accepted Answer

Day tours are private by default — your own car, driver and guide, and a route you can change on the day. The multi-day boat trips work differently: the Komodo liveaboard is a shared scheduled departure on a set route, while the Phinisi charter is a private boat for your group only.

Can I customize a tour?

What languages do your guides speak?

Our guides speak conversational English alongside Indonesian.

Do I need a licensed guide for Mount Rinjani or for the Komodo dragons?

Yes, in both cases, and it is not optional. Rinjani National Park requires a licensed guide for every trekker, and the Komodo dragon walks are led by a licensed park ranger who manages the distance kept from the animals.

When is the best time to visit?

April to October is the dry season and gives the calmest seas for the Gili and Komodo boat trips. Mount Rinjani runs roughly April to December — the park is typically closed from January to March for the wet season, and we will confirm the current closure dates before you book. Waterfalls are fullest in the wet season, from November to March.

Can I combine Lombok, Bali and Komodo in one trip?

Yes, and it is a common request. The sailing route from Lombok to Labuan Bajo via Moyo and Satonda turns the transfer itself into part of the trip instead of an extra flight. Tell us how many days you have and we will shape it.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Accepted Answer

Our standard policy is free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure. Weather is handled separately: boat departures follow the harbour master's safety calls, and we reschedule rather than sail into a bad crossing.
