A three-day, two-night route that adds the Segara Anak crater lake and natural hot springs to the summit trek — a fuller experience of the mountain than the 2D1N route, at a gentler pace.

Best season
April-December; confirm current park-closure dates with us before booking.
Meeting / pickup
Meet at the Sembalun trekking post, or arrange transport from your hotel.
Day 1: Trek from Sembalun to the summit-push camp. Day 2: Pre-dawn summit push and sunrise, descend into the crater to Segara Anak lake, relax at the hot springs, camp lakeside. Day 3: Trek out via the Senaru route (or return via Sembalun, route-dependent), transfer back.
Is this easier than the 2D1N version? The summit push is the same difficulty, but the extra day means less rushing overall. Are the hot springs worth the detour? Most trekkers rate it the highlight after the summit — a real reward after the crater descent. Which route do we exit on? Depends on conditions and group preference — Senaru or back via Sembalun; we'll confirm before departure.
